The Treatment Process
Restoring your tooth with a custom crown is completed over two appointments spaced exactly one week apart.
1. Prep & Digital Scan
Under local anaesthetic, the tooth is shaped to create space for the crown. We take precise, comfortable 3D digital scans of your mouth and fit a natural-looking temporary crown.
2. Laboratory Crafting
We send your 3D digital model directly to our partnered laboratory. Expert dental technicians construct your bespoke crown from the selected material, matching your shade.
3. Fitting & Bonding
One week later, you return. We remove the temporary crown, check the fit and shade of your permanent crown in your mouth, and bond it securely with strong dental cement.
Crown & Bridge Aftercare Guidelines
First 48 Hours

Avoid Eating on the Treated Side: For the first 24 hours, try to avoid chewing directly on the side with your new crown. This allows the cement to fully set and settle.

Be Cautious with Sensitivity: Some initial sensitivity to hot, cold, or biting pressure is normal around the treated tooth. This should subside within a few days.

Avoid Sticky or Hard Foods: Avoid caramel, chewing gum, hard sweets, or nuts which could dislodge your temporary crown or disturb a newly fitted permanent crown.
General Care & Warnings

Maintain Oral Hygiene: Continue brushing twice daily. Take extra care around the margins where the crown meets the gum. Use interdental brushes or floss carefully to keep the area plaque-free.

Use a Nightguard: If you clench or grind your teeth at night (bruxism), we strongly recommend wearing a custom nightguard to shield and protect your new restoration from fracture.

Bite Monitor & Checks: Attend all routine exams. If your crown feels loose, or if it feels "high" (your teeth meet on the crown first when you close your mouth), contact us immediately for a minor adjustment.
What to Watch Out For:
- Persistent Pain: If pain or sensitivity lasts for more than a few days, or if you feel sharp pain when biting down, contact us for an evaluation.
- Crown Dislodging: If your crown becomes loose or falls out, do not attempt to re-cement it yourself. Store the crown safely and contact us immediately for repair.
