Please call our reception team to check current NHS availability. We operate an active waiting list and continue to accept new NHS patients as capacity allows.
On your first visit, a thorough dental examination will be carried out. You will have the opportunity to discuss any concerns with your dentist and receive a full assessment of your oral health. NHS treatment is offered in line with our current allocation and eligibility criteria.
Emergency or Private Appointments
If you require urgent dental care, we also offer private emergency appointments which can usually be booked without joining the NHS waiting list, allowing you to be seen more quickly.

Understanding NHS Charges
NHS dental treatment is grouped into three charge bands. You will only pay one charge for each complete course of treatment, even if you need to visit the dentist more than once to finish it.
Band 1
Covers an examination, diagnosis, advice, and x-rays if necessary. Also includes a scale and polish if clinically needed, and planning for further treatment.
Routine CareBand 2
Covers all treatment included in Band 1, plus additional treatments such as fillings, root canal treatment, and removing teeth (extractions).
Restorative CareBand 3
Covers all treatment included in Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex restorative procedures such as crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Complex CareAre You Entitled to Free NHS Care?
Many patients qualify for free dental care under the NHS. If you meet any of the criteria listed on the right, you do not have to pay for your NHS dental treatment. Please bring proof of your exemption to your appointment.
You qualify for free care if you are:
- Under 18 years old
- Under 19 years old and in full-time education
- Pregnant or a mother who has had a baby in the last 12 months
- Receiving Income Support
- Receiving Universal Credit (under certain conditions)
- Receiving Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Receiving Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Receiving Pension Credit Guarantee Credit
- Named on a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate or HC2 certificate
